Day two of school!
I woke up and it was dark.... Alittle after 7... Eh. I ate, showered, got ready, and went to the bus stop. The bus was too full so I amlost did not make it on that bus with my neighbor Dani... Luckly two people got off so we then took their place...... School..... I did not know where to go so someone directed to my class.. They found out I was an exchange student when I only mumbled my answer at the teacher... It was French class, and I do not know French. I made some friends and they showed me around to my classes.. It was time for Greek, but the teacher was not to be found... Oh well, we went to the library instead. I guess it was time to eat because everyone was walking around the halls with food, so I did so as well. Time passed.. Time to go... My neighbor and I waited and waited and waited... Where was the bus, who knows... My neighbor called his dad and I called my Host Mom.. We were waiting with the police... Then, we spotted the bus... We got on and stopped his dad from coming. My Host Mom picked me up at the bus stop... We went home and ate.. It was really good, I we ate something like potato salad, it made me happy. Then I went to sleep... Not for long, my Roatry Cards came and I got them at the door... Back to the siesta. Once I woke up I started packing for Madrid and ate again.. I oovooed with Jaclyn and Kylie too! Then, I left to Jorge´s house to sleep.. I Skyped with Mia for awhile until she just disappeared... Her computer died, I forgive her. And I skyped with Rosie after midnight here... Zzz Nearing 2 a.m. Good Night.

Hi Sean! It's Mrs. Sneddon's class from Waretown! :) We all hope that you're having a wonderful time. We have a few questions - Do you ride a public bus to school? Do you eat lunch as you're going to class? hmmmmmm. let us know. What has been your favorite thing to do over there so far? Talk to you soon!
ReplyDeleteHi! Nice to hear from you all! To school, I take a school bus and get on at a public bus stop. The buses are not like our's at all, they are smaller, and the seats are made for each individual. Lunch is very different here.. We get a break in between classes and that is when everyone pulls out their food and starts to eat in the hallway. My favorite thing to do so far is school. School here is more difficult, but I like a challange.
ReplyDeleteSo good to hear from you! :) The class wants to know what types of food do you eat there. What is the climate like and will you be celebrating Halloween?
ReplyDeleteThe food here is great! We eat all types of things; lots of freash fruits and vegetables. They make a lot of chicken, fish, pork, and beef just as we do in the U.S. They just eat it differently here. One of my favorite Spanish dishes is Paella which is rice, shellfish, and vegetables... I am sure there is more to it, but I am always too busy eating it to realize! The climate is very similar to our's. The mornings are now cooler, the days are warm, but the nights as well are becoming cooler.. As far as Halloween goes, I am not to sure... I will have to ask my Host Parents or my fiends, I'll let you all know soon. I have taken some pictures if you would like to see them, let me know. I will just need an address to e-mail them too, or they are on my Facebook.
ReplyDeleteHow's school going? Is there anyone who hasn't been so nice at your school? Do you like your host family? Are the houses the same there as they are here? Questions, questions, questions! There are soooo many. Please send some pictures to dsneddon@OTSDK6.org Talk to you soon! :)
